Wow… I finally got around to watching this movie and what’s really scary and kind of sad is how much this reminds me of my family. We used to go on road trips a lot when I was a teenager and sadly it transpired a lot like this on almost every single trip. ; ; (Minus the dead dad in the trunk

I love the VW bus.
It is really the perfect comedic relief, you love it the same as you hate it.
Only a VW would have so much personality and have the ability to no only add a whole new character to the film, but a more entertaining story and a funny setting for all of the drama.
I drive an old beetle everyday, have for the past 6 years, so I’m very familiar with the many adventures it produces. (and having a bad electrical system, which caused me to have to pop the clutch.

Love it, love it , fucking love it!!!! For me the best movie ever. No shit graphics, just epic movie making skill!!!! I can not describe how good it was, the up’s and down’s the family have with the comedy and emotion makes u feel as if u were part of the family! I felt there pain and happiness at the end. I’m a very strict film critic but this had me falling in love with it from the word go!
