ROLLER DERBY. On July 23, 2011 Sunshine Coast Roller Derby team, Coastal Assassins (Blood Diamonds) awesomely defeated the Brisbane team, Nasty Nancies at the Caloundra Indoor Sports Centre. This was my first visit to one of these events and not my last. These girls have my total respect (both teams) for having guts and spirit and providing great entertainment. Support your local team everyone. AND it’s a great event for dress ups too. Be a part of the action.
